Silva Bay Derby

We’ve moved the dates to the first weekend of September which should take us out of the slot limit for the derby boundaries. Tickets will be $40 per adult or $20 for child (under 16). All ticket holders will be eligible for a grand prize of a HDS 10 PRO sounder from Lowrance.

Weigh in at Silva Bay Marina. Prize ceremony, and the awarding of the trophy that’s been handed out since 1990 will go on 12pm on Sunday, Sept 3rd at Silva Bay Marina.

As always – all proceeds from this awesome event benefit local salmon enhancement and community fishing projects.

Weigh Station will be open at Silva Bay Marina — Saturday, September 2, 2023 – 9a.m. – 7p.m; Sunday, Sept 3, 2023 from 9am to 11am.

Boundaries :Icarus, Neck Point, The Fingers, Entrance Island, Thrasher and Porlier Pass and up to three miles offshore Gabriola/Nanaimo and Inside waters from Northumberland to Porlier Pass
